Ancestors' business
Sheep breeding is an ancient occupation of the Kazakh people. Support for a Kazakh whose barn/kashara would never be left without sheep deserves attention.
Yes, there are different types of support from the state for those who want to breed livestock and/or engage in farming. One of them is grant funding.
Kaikybay Asan Kaldybayuly, a resident of the village of Moildy, a rural area of the city of Pavlodar, is one of those who "tried his luck" and became the owner of 1,476,800 tenge.
As he says, he participated in a grant competition for projects as the head of a large family. He used the grant money to buy small livestock, i.e. filled his barn with sheep.
"The main source of income for the village is livestock. And I asked myself - why don't you do what you can? So, last year I studied in the entrepreneurship program and wrote a business plan, successfully defended my project, received a non-refundable grant and bought 10 Edelbaya sheep.
Sheep and cattle breeding is our national calling. For example, I was brought up among domestic animals from an early age and this did not cause me any problems.
We cannot miss this chance when we have the opportunity to buy cattle and create conditions for work on caring for cattle, ”says the grant winner.
Asan Kaldybayuly, who deeply understood the meaning of the proverb “If you breed cattle, breed sheep, your income will also be large”, therefore intends to increase his income in the future by breeding sheep and other livestock.
And this is only the beginning, he has grandiose plans in mind. But now he counts only on himself. The state has provided him with an opportunity. As they say, take the first step, then everything depends on him, i.e. on his hard work, attentive attitude to business, etc. etc.
